Josh Rosenthal is an addiction specialist who lives and practices in Sydney. Josh has worked in addiction treatment centres in Sydney for 14 years in a range of roles from clinical manager and lead therapist to family support workers. He has a graduate diploma of counselling and psychotherapy and a member of The Australian Counselling Association. His other qualifications include diploma in Community welfare and certificate IV in mental health.
Over the years Josh has worked in not-for-profit front-line addiction services in Sydney to high end boutique rehabilitation centres such as The Cabin. Josh has extensive experience and training in individual and group work where he is extremely passionate in assisting people experiencing addictions and their families by providing support, experience and knowledge to individuals who are willing to make the necessary changes to heal and recover from their addictions and mental health issues.
Joshua promotes a holistic approach in treating people with addictions which incorporate cognitive behavioural therapy, emotional intelligence, 12-step, mindfulness and the principles of established recovery communities.
Josh sees clients and their families privately and continues to work in one of Australia’s leading rehabilitation centres. Josh is a recovering addict himself and has dedicated his professional and personal life in helping others recover from addictions and lead a productive, healthy and fulfilling life.
